Meal picker
Dietary restrictions
Updated October 2, 2026
Contents
If you do not eat meat, keep halal or simply cannot stand mushrooms, tell the app. Then the meal picker will not suggest things that do not suit you.
Where to set them
Open Profile → About me. There are two sections:
- Dietary restrictions: tick what applies, such as vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, halal, gluten-free or lactose-free. You can pick several.
- Specifics: a free-text field. Write in your own words anything that is not on the list: "peanut allergy", "I don't like mushrooms", "low on iron according to my tests", "I work night shifts".
You can change your answers at any time, and the changes apply immediately.
Where they are used
- In the meal picker: ideas will leave out what you excluded. More in How the meal picker works.
- In tips on the "Progress" screen.
Food analysis from photos and descriptions does not use these answers, and that is deliberate: it counts what is actually on your plate, not what should be there.
Do not put personal details in your answersYour answers are passed to the AI model without your name or account. Do not include your name, phone number or other contacts.
A therapeutic diet is a different thingThe service does not provide medical care and does not replace a diet prescribed by a doctor. If your diet is therapeutic or your allergy is serious, agree your meals with a doctor and use the app as a diary. Suggestions are food ideas, not treatment.
