Voice and text corrections

Updated October 2, 2026

A photo analysis is a draft that you can correct in words. Corrections work by voice and by text, and the app recalculates the ingredients and nutrition.

Where to correct

  • In the app: the "Refine" button on the result screen or in an open entry. Type what is wrong, or tap the microphone and say it.
  • In the chat with the bot: just reply to the analysis card with text or a voice message: "there was no oil", "it was half a portion".

What you can say

  • "double portion" increases the grams of the whole dish;
  • "half a plate" reduces the portion;
  • "no oil" removes an ingredient;
  • "it was 200 g" sets the weight;
  • "with sour cream" or "add a slice of bread" adds something the photo did not show.

You can talk normally, in your own words: "there was less rice, about 120 grams, and hardly any oil". There are no special commands to learn.

When a correction helps most

If part of the portion is not visible, the dish is in a deep bowl, or there is something inside you cannot see (oil, sauce, sugar), one correction in words fixes more than a new photo.

Repeat mealsIf you eat the same thing often, correct the portion once. After that you can add the dish from "My dishes" or from favorites, and the weight you set is filled in.
