Logging in with Telegram and MAX

MyFoodMate AI has no separate sign-up. The app runs inside your messenger, and your account is your Telegram or MAX account. You do not need to create a password or give an email address.

How to log in

1. Open the MyFoodMate AI bot in Telegram or MAX. The links are on the site's home page.
2. Tap "Start". The bot says hello and offers to open the app.
3. Answer a few questions about yourself so we can calculate your daily target. It takes about a minute.

After that you can simply send food photos to the bot in the chat or open the app with the button under the message. Either way, the entries end up in the same diary.

Telegram and MAX are two separate apps

This is worth knowing in advance. The Telegram bot and the MAX bot work independently of each other:

• each has its own diary. Entries you make in Telegram will not appear in MAX, and vice versa;
• each has its own subscription. Pro bought in one messenger works only there;
• your target, weight, favorites and "About me" answers are stored separately in each app.

So it is best to pick one messenger and keep your diary there. If you started in one and later open the other, the second one starts from scratch.

If you really need it, export your data to a file (see Exporting and deleting your data) and contact support.

What we know about your account

The messenger passes the app only what it needs to log you in: your ID, your name and your interface language. The app does not see your phone number or your conversations with other people. If you delete your MyFoodMate AI account, your messenger account is not affected in any way.
